Cattle
Our Cows are raised on certified organic pastures, where they graze freely and have access to a balanced, organic diet free from antibiotics, growth hormones, or synthetic additives.
The animals are treated with care, given plenty of space to roam, and provided clean, comfortable housing during inclement weather.
Originating from the Netherlands, we migrated and opened our first farm in Canada in 1994. That marked the beginning of a sustainable venture dedicated to producing high-quality, nutritious cattle and dairy products while contributing to the local economy and community. This milestone reflects months of careful planning, investment, and a commitment to ethical and environmentally friendly farming practices
We revitalized our infrastructure and operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability while prioritizing animal welfare and environmental responsibility. Did our very best in upgrading our facility, incorporated modern technologies, and adopting innovative farming practices to align with industry standards and evolving consumer demands.
Introduced state-of-the-art milking systems, energy-efficient equipment, expanded or redesigned barns for better ventilation and comfort, and upgraded waste management systems to minimize environmental impact. Started our own grain farms with advanced feeding systems and sustainable pasture management to ensure healthier, more productive cattle.
Focused on creating a more sustainable and animal-friendly environment, improving milk quality, and reducing operational costs. This transformative step reflected the farm’s commitment to long-term growth, eco-conscious practices, and providing fresh, high-quality dairy products to the market.
Our efforts were blessed with a second farm, we found the need to employ experts and welcomed committed and dairy farm driven innovative minds and pairs of hand that has been part of the Hoenhorst family till date
